Lageri beach is situated between Naoussa village and Santa Maria beach. As it is quite close to the famous destination of Naoussa, about 4km away, it is easy reachable. Lageri actually is an area of Paros. Therefore, it is not easy to define which one of the two beaches is called Lageri Beach. For the sake of argument, we will take under our consideration that Lageri beach is the one which you can find on Google Map.
This is an unspoiled sandy paradise situated in a big bay. It is not easy to reach, as you will drive on a dirt road for few minutes. You should not expect beach bars or any organization here, like few hundred meters away in Santa Maria. That is because it is a secluded place, where you can relax and enjoy the nature. Therefore, if you are looking for serenity and sounds of waves, Lageri beach is a good choice. You should know that due to its location, nudists choose this beach too.
Be aware that if you decide to visit it, you should come prepared. There are no shops here and therefore, you need to have with you water and maybe a snack. Just make sure that you have a sufficient amount. Another aspect that you must be aware of as well is that you will not find umbrellas here. There are few bushes and small trees here but it is not enough to protect you from the sun. Therefore, you should have your own umbrella with you. If you don’t have one, then we suggest you go to Lageri beach after midday. The sun is not that much intense after 6 p.m.

Stefano beach

The picture that you see above is from Stefano beach but this used to be called Lageri by locals. Therefore, if you ask someone in our hotels in Paros regarding Lageri, you might be pointed here and not to the beach few hundred meters towards the north. This is truly an unexpected location. You will see a wide strip of sand, with sea on both its sides, which leads to an islet. It will be without any doubt, one of the most beautiful locations you saw in Paros. Due to the fact that you will not find a beach bar here, you need to come prepared. Make sure you have few bottles of water with you and an umbrella. We will give the same advice here. If you don’t have an umbrella to protect you from the sun, you can visit this beach later.
It is a little bit tricky to find the “entrance” to this beach. There is a small path starting at the main road, which leads to Santa Maria. During season peak, you will see cars parked near the “entrance”.
Both beaches can be combined with a visit on Santa Maria. It is better to go to Santa Maria first, where you have plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas. Afterwards, when the sun is lower on the horizon, you can come here. Naoussa is just few minutes away, where you can enjoy delicious dinner after your day on the beach.
